Alamo Title Company was founded by Jane Ann Benton in 1989 under the name Title Agency of Austin. Jane Ann and her small staff built the company into one of the largest title insurance companies in central Texas.

In June 1995, Title Agency of Austin was sold to Alamo Title Holding Company. Today, Alamo Title is a member of the largest title insurance and escrow services company in the country, due to the acquisition by Fidelity National Financial in 1998.

Alamo Title Company of Austin has many convenient locations serving, Travis, Williamson, Hays and Bastrop counties with approximately 75 employees. We have the ability to manage title services throughout Texas from our central location here in Austin. In 2007 Alamo Title Company closed nearly 7,000 real estate transactions, insuring over $2.5 billion.
